Carnival Cruise Line sailed away with four major wins at the 2025 Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards, reaffirming its leadership in delivering exceptional cruise experiences and strong travel advisor partnerships. This year’s honors include Best Domestic Cruise Line for the tenth consecutive year, Best Short Itinerary for the fourth year in a row, Best Travel Advisor Loyalty Program for the second consecutive year and Best Group Program, also a multi-year win.
During the ceremony, Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy accepted the awards alongside Chief Commercial Officer Ken Tate, Senior Vice President of Trade Sales and Marketing Janet Wygert and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Kirk Neal, among other members of the Carnival team.
“These awards are a testament to the incredible work of our team and our travel partners,” said Duffy. “From creating unforgettable experiences and supporting advisors through programs like Funnel Faves, we’re proud to continue leading the way in making cruising fun and accessible for everyone.”
Sailing from more U.S. homeports than any other cruise line, Carnival’s continued distinction underscores its commitment to providing great cruise vacations. With a fleet of 29 ships and plans to add five new ships through 2033, Carnival offers unmatched convenience and variety for millions of guests each year. Carnival was also recognized for Best Short Itinerary, thanks to its popular three- and four-day cruises that deliver big experiences such as quick getaways to destinations like Celebration Key – Carnival’s newest destination on Grand Bahama that debuted this year.
Carnival’s win for Best Travel Advisor Loyalty Program follows a year of major developments to its program, designed to celebrate and empower travel advisors. Earlier this year, the cruise line introduced Funnel Faves, a dynamic campaign that spotlighted advisors with expanded tools and resources, engaging ways to earn rewards and exclusive promotions that underscore Carnival’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the travel advisor community and ensuring their success. Carnival’s Best Group Program honor also echoes its ability to make planning effortless and rewarding, offering dedicated support and exclusive perks for everything from family reunions to corporate events.
The Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice accolades add to several more top honors for Carnival that were announced this month, including Cruise Passenger Readers' Choice Awards for Best Family Cruise Line, World Travel Tech Awards for North America’s Best Cruise Line Website for 2025 and Cruise Critic Awards for Best Value for Money.
