Laura Quevedo

Laura Quevedo serves as chief human resources officer for Carnival Cruise Line, joining in July 2025. In this role, she oversees all aspects of shoreside and shipboard human resources that align with business goals and values for more than 51,000 team members.

Laura brings more than 25 years of human resources experience across several global industries. She most recently served as vice president of human resources, corporate at TelevisaUnivision, one of the leading Spanish-language media companies. In that role, she worked closely with members of the executive team as strategic HR business partner supporting operations in the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia.

Prior to that, Laura spent nearly two decades at global spirits manufacturer Diageo in various HR roles with multi-market, regional or global scopes and with increasing responsibility including reporting to members of the Diageo executive team. She also held leadership positions at PeopleSoft and Santander Bank.

A native of Argentina, Laura began her career in human resources while earning her degree in business administration from the School of Economics from the University of Buenos Aires where she graduated with honors. She also studied at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton CHRO Executive Education program and is a Certified Professional Coach.

Currently she is a member of the Advisory Board of the MS in Human Resources Management of FIU (Florida International University) and of the Board of Directors of DCH US (International Organization of Human Capital Directors).
